Polymer clay and mixed media jewelry and sculpture All pieces are one of a kind, made by hand in my Santa Fe studio. I’ve been working in this medium for over thirty-five years. I use primarily techniques I invented myself, as well as those developed by my skilled colleagues. We are all making the history of this medium right now, so the approaches you see have only been around 30 or 40 years, and new techniques appear regularly. My pieces have been exhibited and sold internationally and are in many collections and publications; Ornament magazine features my jewelry regularly and as a cover story in 1990. Each piece here is unique, so when it sells it is gone; there may be others that are similar but not identical. I will update this page as often as possible. Because I have been creating in this medium over a number of years, you’ll see a range of different concepts as well as techniques: different approaches to shapes, colors, textures, and more subtle layers of evocation and suggestion.
